Track Walking

Track walking is an exercise system that involves walking on a track for fitness or leisure purposes. In a recreational context, participants walk in groups or individually. Group walks may be undertaken for social, as well as fitness, motivations. Compared to road, trail, or other outdoor forms of walking, track walking provides participants with a predictable walking surface and may thus be perceived as safer than walking in other contexts.
