Two-foot high kick is an Indigenous Arctic physical game in which participants attempt to kick a suspended object (usually a ball) with two feet and successfully land on both feet. Participants jump, thrust both feet high in the air to strike the suspended ball without falling backwards, and land on both feet without losing their balance. In competitions, participants are given with three kicks and the highest attempt is recorded. Although this is a competitive sport in the Arctic Games and Masters Indigenous Games, it is often practiced informally for pleasure, pride, and competition. At competitive levels, athletes can kick a ball suspended 2.7m above the ground.
